Opportunities lists the next things worth doing for a brand. Google rankings shows where you appear in Google search and which keywords you track. Plan limits for tracked keywords and lookups are in Plans, add-ons and billing.

Opportunities#

Open What to do > Opportunities in the sidebar. The screen has five tabs.

TabWhat it showsWhat you do
All movesEverything worth doing from Google, AI answers, wrong facts, authority and your site, in one list. The most valuable come first.Use the chips to filter by Google, AI answers, Wrong facts, Authority, Site or Local. Click the button on a row to act on it. Each number links to where it comes from.
GooglePages Google already shows that win fewer clicks than they could. This tab is called Search opportunities.Click the button on a row. It opens a fix or adds a question, depending on the row.
Long questionsSearches of eight words or more, from your own Search Console.Click Answer it, or Track and answer when no page is close.
AccuracyPlaces where an AI answer contradicts your approved facts. This tab is called Accuracy Watch.Click Dismiss, or open the fix the row suggests.
Site readinessChecks of your site that affect how engines read it.Click Re-run checks, then fix what fails.

The All moves list shows up to eight moves of each type. Each chip shows every move of its type. The list is ordered by how much is at stake and how sure we are that it helps. Searches from people ready to choose count extra. Nothing there is a promise.

Google tab#

This tab needs Search Console. Without it, the tab asks you to connect it. It reads the last 90 days and lists rows under Ready to work on. Each row has a type:

  • Close to the top
  • Few people click
  • Long question
  • Losing clicks
  • Pages compete

Each row shows how often the page was shown, its clicks, its click rate and its position. The buttons are Rewrite title, Add answer, Refresh page and Add to Questions. A page you changed in the last 90 days moves to Resting, so you can see the effect before changing it again. A new site with little data sees three suggested pages instead, each with Add to Content plan.

Long questions tab#

Reading the list is free. Answering a question needs a paid plan, and the button says Answer it (paid plan) until then. Answer it starts an edit of the page that ranks and puts the answer first.

Accuracy tab#

Accuracy Watch is included with some plans and as an add-on for others. The screen shows what applies to you. See Plans, add-ons and billing. Facts live in Facts and the fact check.

Site readiness tab#

Checks are grouped. Each row shows Pass, Warning, Fail, Note or Couldn't check, with why it matters. A copy button such as Copy fix or Copy llms.txt puts a ready snippet on your clipboard to paste into a file on your site. Create fix starts a fix for the problem. Re-run checks needs an owner or editor, and a recent run can delay the next one. A message then says when it is available.

Google rankings#

Open Where you stand > Google rankings. It has five tabs.

  • Your searches lists every search your site appeared for, from Search Console. It is free. Filter by All, Moved up, Moved down, New or Page 2. Change compares with the 28 days before.
  • Tracked keywords lists the keywords you track, with your position, the best competitor and who holds the featured snippet. Positions are checked once a week.
  • Keyword gap lists searches where a competitor is in Google's top 20 and your site has no result. It is read once a month.
  • AI searches lists the web searches AI engines ran to answer your questions, and who holds the top 10 on Google for them.
  • Research looks up keyword ideas for a topic.

Only the first tab is free. The other four show Included with a paid plan on a free workspace.

Track keywords#

  1. Open Google rankings > Tracked keywords.
  2. Type one keyword per line under Add keywords, one per line.
  3. Click Track keyword, or Track 3 keywords and so on for several.

You can also click a suggestion under Suggested from your searches. A line under the box says how many slots are left on your plan.

To remove one, click the cross on its row, then Stop tracking. Its position is no longer checked. You can track it again later.

Owners and editors can add and remove keywords. Viewers can read the tab only.

Keyword research#

  1. Open Google rankings > Research.
  2. Type a topic in A topic or a search to start from.
  3. Click Look up ideas.

You get related searches with searches a month and difficulty, grouped into Topic clusters. Winnable for your authority marks ideas whose difficulty is within a margin of your Domain Rating. That is a rule of thumb, not a promise. Lookups are limited each month, and the page shows how many are left. A topic someone looked up in the last 30 days opens from a shared result and still counts as one lookup.

On a row, click Add cluster to Content plan to put a whole cluster on your plan.

Keyword gap#

On Keyword gap, each row shows searches a month, difficulty and who ranks. Brand names and junk searches are left out. Rows too hard for your authority sit under Show hidden. The buttons on each row are:

  • Track
  • Add to Content plan
  • Add as question
  • Write a landing page

On the AI searches tab, Write a page starts a new page for the search. Ask for a mention starts outreach to a page that holds a top spot. See Authority, outreach and directories.
