Integrations overview
Where to connect Google, your CMS, analytics, Slack, a mailbox and more in Prefera, and which page explains each one.
Integrations is where you connect Prefera to the tools you already use. Open it from the sidebar: Integrations.
Each tile shows a status. Connected means it works. Needs attention means the last check failed, so open the tile and fix or reconnect it. Connecting and disconnecting is for owners and editors. Other roles see "An owner or editor can connect this".
What the screen shows#
The screen is split into groups, top to bottom.
| Group on the screen | What it is for | Page |
|---|---|---|
| Data sources | Google Search Console and Google Analytics 4, read only. | Google Search Console and GA4 |
| Publish to your site | Where fixes and articles are sent: Host it on Prefera, WordPress, Webflow, Shopify, Wix, Framer, Ghost, HubSpot, Notion, GitHub / MDX, Next.js / custom site, and Your own site (webhook). | Connect your site (CMS) |
| Instant indexing (under Publish to your site) | Tells Bing and other IndexNow engines when a page goes live. | IndexNow |
| Traffic and revenue | DataFast, Plausible and PostHog. | Analytics: PostHog, Plausible, DataFast |
| Outreach mailbox | Your own mailbox for sending outreach and reading replies. | Outreach mailbox |
| Developer communities | Dev.to and Hashnode. | Dev.to and Hashnode |
| Notifications | Slack, Email and Webhooks. | Slack, email and webhooks |
At the bottom there is an API & MCP row with an Open button. It leads to the developer screen. See Connect an agent (MCP).
Hosting on Prefera#
If you have no CMS, Host it on Prefera publishes your articles on a Prefera address or your own subdomain. See Prefera-hosted blog.
Plan limits#
The Publish to your site group shows how many connections your plan includes, in the form "N of M connections on" your plan name. If the workspace has more than one brand, the allowance is shared by all brands. When you reach the limit, the connect dialog tells you and links to Upgrade (or Pick a plan if your plan has none). See Plans, add-ons and billing.
Outgoing webhooks are included with every paid plan.
Disconnecting#
Every connected tile has a Disconnect button with a confirmation. For site connections, fixes stop publishing there. Pages already published stay on your site, and you can connect again any time. Each page below says what else happens.
Next, see Publishing for how drafts and live pages work once a site is connected.
